Hello,

If I input a turbulence value for IECturbc (eg. “8.0” for 8 percent), does this correspond to I_ref100 in the IEC NTM formula (11)?
sigma_1 = I_ref(0.75V_hub + b)
I’m adjusting simulations to site data.

When you specify a turbulence intensity (I) in TurbSim’s IECturbc parameter, the standard deviation is calculated by sigma_1 = V_hub*I/100.

Thank you for the reply. So I will have to specify the turbulence at each wind speed.
