Surface Visualization of WindPact using FAST v8

I have run Run_Test01_SIG.m for the input file <<Test14.fst>>, changing its routines to be appropriate for producing surface animation and entered “WP_Baseline/WP_Baseline_AeroDyn15_Dynin.dat” as the AeroFile in the “Input Files” section in the “Test14.fst”. But unfortunately, I faced with this error:
Error reported by S-function ‘FAST_SFunc’ in ‘OpenLoop/FAST Nonlinear Wind Turbine/S-Function’:
FAST_InitializeAll:SetVTKParameters:Cannot do surface visualization without using AeroDyn.

  1. What should I do If I want the wind field vectors to be shown in the surface animation run in the ParaView?

Would you please guide me about these issues.

Dear Hooman,

The FAST model you attached does not include aerodynamics or wind inflow. You should enable AeroDyn v15 (CompAero = 2) and InflowWind (CompInflow = 1) if you wish to have aerodynamics and visualize the blade surface.

Please note that with the current release of FAST v8, it is not possible to visualize the wind field through the FAST visualization functionality.
