I’m a PhD student who is studying wind turbine aerodynamics. I would really like to have access to the NREL Phase VI measurement data to validate the turbine wake model I’m developing.
I found a previous post saying I should contact Dr. Scott Schreck with specific dataset requests. I did this two weeks ago and I haven’t heard back from him. I’m wondering if things have changed and I could get the data somewhere else. Any help would be appreciated!
Yes, unfortunately, Scott Schreck is no longer employed at NREL, as of a couple weeks ago. Lee Jay Fingersh of NREL (LeeFingershnrelgov) is now responsible for distributing the UAE Phase VI data until a more permanent solution is found.
