WindPACT 1.5MW 66m Fast Model

Hia,

After reading the WindPACT documentacion, I noticed that the 1,5MW grew up from 66 to 70 m. I have found the 70m but, is it possible to also get the original 66m Fast model?

Dear Pedro,

I have not seen a FAST model of a 66-m WindPACT wind turbine. Perhaps someone else on this forum has a FAST model available?

Thanks for your fast answer. I was wondering because I saw it in this table from “WindPACT Turbine Rotor Design Study” page 17 (30 on pdf)

Maybe you are right and the model was never created.

Dear Pedro,

It could be that a FAST model was created for that turbine, but those models were not developed within NREL and I personally did not have access to them. Again, perhaps someone else on this forum knows of where to find it, if it is available. If it is available, though, my guess is it would be available in an older version of FAST, which might be difficult to upgrade to the newest version. A reasonable approach may be simply to build the model from the publicly available data.
