sowfa tutorials, windPlant

Hi there,
I’m trying to run all the tutorials from SOWFA, and I encountered a boundary points error when trying to compile the neutral case of windPlant (see below).

→ FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
cannot find file

file: /home/pabello/OpenFOAM/tutorials/windPlant/neutral/constant/boundaryData/west/points at line 0.

From function regIOobject::readStream()
in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73.

FOAM exiting

Any idea on how to define those boundary points? I read in this thread

Running SOWFA

I have installed OpenFOAM and I am now working with the SOWFA tutorials to get a better understanding of how this software works. However, I am having trouble making this “boundaryDataPre” folder necessary for the precursorABL neutral and unstable tutorials and the windPlant neutral and unstable tutorials. How can I generate this folder? Thanks, Jen

that controlDict.2 should be copied into controlDict, which I did. Then that I should make the boundaryData files. As Jennifer there, I’d like to ask how to generate the time series, so that I could proceed making the boundary inflow.
