Set the initial value of the out-of-plane blade-tip displacement for one individual blade

Dear all,

I have a question, that is, in the input file of FASTv8. For example, in the NRELOffshrBsline5MW_ Onshore_ElastoDyn.dat file, I want to set the initial value of the out-of-plane blade-tip displacement of only one blade, and the other blades are 0. How to set it? In the input file, only three blades are set at the same time, as shown in the following figure.

Dear @Yifan.Luo,

This is not possible through the input file of ElastoDyn in FAST v8 (or in OpenFAST), as the initial blade displacements in the ElastoDyn input file apply to all three blades. That said, you can specify different initial deflections for different blades through a quite simple change to the ElastoDyn source code, which will require a recompile of FAST v8 (or OpenFAST).
