Is it possible to model a floating wind turbine(e.g. OC3-Hywind) through FAST with rigid tower(not multi-body tower)? (I mean whole the tower be rigid body like platform)
If yes, how??

In FAST it is possible to enable/disable any of the degrees of freedom (DOFs). Disabling a component’s DOFs will cause that component to be treated rigidly by FAST.

How to disable those degrees of freedom of components?

The FAST primary (*.fst) input file has switches to enable/disable DOFs. See the FAST User’s Guide for more information.
