Hi
I am a PhD student and have recently started working on OpenFast. I have followed the details on 3.2.4.4.1. Windows with Visual Studio regression test — OpenFAST v3.5.1 documentation
I have windows 10 with openfast 3.5.1, visual studio 2019 and python 3.11.
The regression test results are:
pass 36, fail 4
I couldn’t figure out as if I should take this as normal and move forward or debug this.
I have followed this thread manualRegressionTest with Windows Visual Studio Regression Test and generated the plots and
Thanks
Dear @Muhammad.Sharjil,
It looks like you asked the same question on the OpenFAST GitHub repository (OpenFast regression test: 4 out of 40 fail · Issue #1826 · OpenFAST/openfast · GitHub), where Derek Slaughter has responded. Let’s continue the discussion there.
Best regards,
Hi
I am continuing this thread as I was referred from OpenFast regression test: 4 out of 40 fail · Issue #1826 · OpenFAST/openfast · GitHub
Can you suggest me how to dig into this.
Thanks
Actually, I would suggest keeping the conversation within the OpenFAST issue, not here.
Hi @Jason.Jonkman
This is a separate issue regarding regression tests, so I thought about continuing with it here.
Thanks
Hi
I am getting these results for regression test (After sorting out the correct r-test folder in OpenFast 3.5.1) [as per this thread Error in executing IEA-15-240-RWT-UMaineSemi on OpenFast 3.4.1 - #9 by Muhammad.Sharjil]
I have a query as to how to proceed with this.
Thanks
Again, I would suggest all issues related to the OpenFAST r-test be discussed on OpenFAST GitHub issues, where the developers of OpenFAST can provide support. Sharing the plots of why some tests fail will be necessary to understand why.
Best regards,
Hi
Ok. Thanks. I will continue this discussion on the GitHub Forum.
