I have several questions about the OC4 mooring system.
It would be wonderful if you answer the questions below.

  1. What are the criteria for choosing an unstretched length and touchdown point?
  2. What is the grade of the mooring chain?
  3. Is the partial safety factor shown in Table 1 of 4.2.1 of DNVGL-OS-E301 used?

I was not the designer of the OC4-DeepCwind semi, and so, I don’t know the answers to your questions. You likely need to reach out to the designers of the OC4-DeepCwind semi at the University of Maine, e.g. Andy Goupee or Anthony Viselli, neither of which I believe check this forum regularly.
