Generate stochastic wind

Dear all,

I have a question about wind generate.
In order to check my control in FAST model, I want to generate stochastic wind, for example, mean wind speed = 16m/s, wind direction = 0 deg. How can I generate this kind of wind?

Dear Cheng,

You can use NREL’s TurbSim software to generate turbulent wind inflow for use in FAST: nwtc.nrel.gov/TurbSim.
