Tendon failure in FAST modeling

Dear @Jason.Jonkman sir,
I wanted to know if there is any IEC load case dealing with mooring line fault or can it be included under any existing load cases?
Thanks and best regards

Dear @Nitin.Sivakumar,

The design load cases from the recently published IEC 61400-3-2 Ed. 1 design standard for floating offshore wind turbines included cases F1.1, F1.2 F2.1 and F2.2 dealing with mooring line or tendon loss.

Best regards,

Dear @Jason.Jonkman sir,
Is it possible to access the document in anyway for the public to see the further details of the load cases?
Thanks and regards

Dear @Nitin.Sivakumar,

The IEC design standards are not available in the public domain, but can be purchased through IEC.

Regardless, these IEC load cases consider the transient situation between the intact condition (all mooring lines or tendons are intact) and the redundancy condition after the loss of a mooring line or tendon (F1.1 and F2.1), as well as the situation after the line loss (F1.2 and F2.2), both for normal conditions (F1.1 and F1.2) and extreme conditions (F2.1 and F2.2).

Best regards,
