Problem in simulating Test18 with rated wind speed

Hello Everyone,

I am simulating the standard certification test that is “Test18” for the output generator power at rated wind speed.
My analysis includes the case of steady rated wind speed (11.4m/s) the generator power at this rated condition should be 5MW, but I am getting the generator power as 4747.81kW which is a considerable difference with actual value.

what should be the change in input files?

Dear Rahul,

I’m not sure what you should change because I don’t know your current settings. Do you have torque and pitch control enabled? Does your wind data include a strong shear, which my limit the power? Do you get a generator of 5 MW if you increase the wind speed slightly?
