How to start with MLife for a beginner?

Is there any step-wise guidance on how to effectively use MLife? Maybe with some trial examples? Or some related previous posts?

In the MLife archive (MLife | Wind Research | NREL), there are many examples in the CertTest directory. A full user guide and theory manual are also available. And there have been many discussions on this forum about how to use MLife, including input LUlt, which often causes confusion.
