How do specifie the translation direction of TMDs ?

Dear All

I recently read an article that mentioned that the translation direction of TMD is rotated by 45°about the vertical axis, forming an ‘‘X’’ . I am very interested in this. But after consulting the manual and the forum, no relevant problems were found. So ask everyone here.

Dear Laic,

The current TMD model in FAST / OpenFAST allows for two independent TMDs in the fore-aft and side-side directions, or one omnidirectional TMD. You’d have to change the source code a bit if you want to rotate the two independent TMDs by 45 degrees about the vertical xis.
