Compatibility between OpenFAST and Orcaflex

Hello,

After doing simulations with OpenFAST with a 20 MW wind turbine, I wanted to introduce the model into Orcaflex to do a few more simulations. I have doubts whether I am going to have problems with the file that includes all the characteristics of the controller, a.k.a, the DISCON.IN file. This DISCON.IN file gives me 20 MW of power when i carry certain simulations with wind speeds greater than 5 m/s.

My concern is whether there will be any problems with the compatibility from OpenFAST to Orcaflex when it comes to the controller files. If there was something you could tell me to have in mind before starting using Orcaflex, i would appreciate it , in order to save time, as I have to deliver the proposal for my thesis along this week.

I’m not aware of specific limitations OrcaFlex may or may not have in regards to the DISCON controller interface, but this is probably a better question for Orcina technical support.
