Beamdyn Wiener-Milenkovi ´c Rotation Parameter Corrective issues

Dear Jason and every one:

I ues the beamdyn to calculate the blade tip twist, but I have some question:
1.In your previous post, you mentioned the output of beamdyn rotation parameters. Is the output result of the current version normal?
2.According to formula 5.17 in the Beamdyn user manual, I can calculate the rotation matrix, but I cannot determine whether the calculation result is correct when calculating the rotation angle. Is there any basic validation data for verifying the calculation program.
3.In the calculation of aeroelastic response, the loose coupling can meet the accuracy requirements. Whether the results calculated in beamdyn module are coupled with aroedyn in both directions, and which degrees of freedom deformation and velocity are included in the physical quantities considered?

thank you very much!
Best regards
Liao

Dear @Weiliang.Liao,

I’m not really sure I understand your first two questions. Can you clarify what you are asking?

Regarding (3), BeamDyn and AeroDyn are two-way coupled within OpenFAST; that is, the BeamDyn displacements and velocities (6 DOF at each node) are passed to AeroDyn to calculate aerodynamic loads and these loads are passed to BeamDyn to calculation motion.
