SubDyn stand-alone: FEMMod must be 0, 1, 2, or 3

Dear reader,

I am trying to run SubDyn stand-alone and I am using the SubDyn files in “r-test\modules\subdyn”…
I doesn’t matter which example I am trying to run, I always get this error message:

1 processing file: SD_Rigid2Interf_Cables.dvr
Opening SubDyn Driver input file: SD_Rigid2Interf_Cables.dvr

Running SubDyn (v1.03.00, 11-Apr-2016).
SD_Init: Error in file ".\SD_Rigid2Interf_Cables.dat: FEMMod must be 0, 1, 2, or 3.
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste . . .

But FEMMod is always 0, 1, 2, or 3:

-------------------- FEA and CRAIG-BAMPTON PARAMETERS ---------------------------------
3 FEMMod - FEM switch: element model in the FEM. [1= Euler-Bernoulli(E-B); 2=Tapered E-B (unavailable); 3= 2-node Timoshenko; 4= 2-node tapered Timoshenko (unavailable)]

Does anyone has an idea regarding this issue?

Heike

Dear @Heike.vonWaaden,

My guess is that your input files are formatted for a newer version of SubDyn than you are running. The solution will be to compile the standalone SubDyn driver from the newest version of OpenFAST (or whichever version of the r-test you are running).

Best regards,

Dear @Jason.Jonkman,

thank you very much for your answer.
I will try it

Heike
