Questions about TSR

Dear sir,
I have some problems in FAST running, when I use 8m/s turbulent wind to calculate, it warns that my TSR=0, when I use 11.4m/s turbulent wind, it still prompts TSR=0, I I checked that the degree of freedom of the generator is set to “ture”, and I also found that the two output data of my “OoPDefl1” and “IPDefl1” are not 0, which means that my blades are rotating, so I would like to ask my What is the reason for TSR=0?
best regards,

Dear @Hairui.Jiang,

ElastoDyn outputs OoPDefl1 and IPDefl1 are the blade deflections relative to the undeflected pitch axis; they don’t show rotor speed, which is output via ElastoDyn output RotSpeed. Is RotSpeed nonzero?

What does the full command window say?

Best regards

Dear sir,
Thank you for your quick reply. I tried to check the RotSpeed and TSR data and found that the data at 11.4m/s is better, but it prompts TSR=0 when running,I wonder about this question.
Best regards,

Dear @Hairui.Jiang,

From your time-series plots, it looks like you’ve initialized RotSpeed to zero rather than the expect rotor speed for the wind speed you are simulating. It is generally recommend to initialize the rotor speed and blade-pitch angles to their expected (mean) values for the given mean hub-height wind speed you are simulating. Doing this should solve the issue you are facing.
