Question about FAST 6

Dear All

Accidentally, I just tried to use FAST 6 to run the simulation. I found that if I set the initial value of TTDspFA to a non zero value, Matlab will crash when I click the run button. I do not know why and I am wondering this is something normal or there is some problem with the S-function I compiled. Does anyone know this?

Dear Xing,

In FAST v6 and v7, it was not possible to set initial tower (and blade) displacements when using the Simulink interface. This is mentioned in the old FAST User’s Guide: nwtc.nrel.gov/system/files/FAST.pdf. This limitation has been addressed in FAST v8, if you choose to upgrade.
