only longitudinal turbulence

Hello,

I am analizing how our platform behaves with different wind conditions (with FAST), for that one of the cases that we want to analize is introducing a longitudinal turbulence wind field with no lateral and no vertical wind, another case just lateral turbulence wind field and other case with only vertical turbulence wind. Is it posible to create this kind of wind field with Turbsim, or maybe with a different module?

The easiest way to test these kind of conditions would be to generate hub-height (HH) wind files for AeroDyn. These types of files provide uniform winds, but can easily be modified to set different wind components to zero. You could initially generate the HH file in TurbSim and then set the wind direction and/or various wind components to zero.
