Is it possible to include flaps within the Beamdyn (as below)?
If yes, how?
What about doing it by creating a new blade by Beamdyn and coupling it with the main blade? (of course by a little manipulating Beamdyn code)?
Any comments.

Dear Mehdi,
You can model the aerodynamic effect of the flaps by using multiple airfoil tables and the user-controlled airfoil properties feature of AeroDyn v15 (AFTabMod = 3, UserProp). However, OpenFAST does not currently support a way to model the active changes in structural properties associated with the motion of flaps in BeamDyn or ElastoDyn.
