I started some tests using your Hywind floating platform. I obtained the WAMIT files and it was really good. My results are so closely to yours. I’m having trouble compiling FAST v 8.0, in deed, untill now it has been impossible. Because of this, I decided to use FAST v 7.02 but it is not possible to introduce the damping matrix. Am I right an it is not possible or Am I doing anything wrong?

In FAST v7.02, there is no place to specify an additional hydrodynamic damping matrix via an input file. However, adding such damping requires only a minor modification to the source code, which is what we did in the past. FAST v8 has the capability for the user to specify additional damping (linear and quadratic) and stiffness matrices via the input file.
