yielding analysis

Dear jason,

I paln to carry out the fatigue yielding analysis of the test23 case , so my approach is as follows the tension divided by the tether area would give me the associated stresses in the tethers across time now i want to look at the number of times the stress level exceeds the given value of yield stress of the material over a given length of simulation time would give me the number of cycles, from where can i get the tether diameter in the fast files,

regards

Dear Purushotham,

If you haven’t changed Test23 in anyway, the mooring parameters are defined in the FEAMooring input file, but as it turns out, the tendon/line diameter is not actually specified in this file. Regardless, the effective tendon/line diameter for the MIT/NREL TLP is 0.127 m.

Best regards,
