I have a question about the equations which convert the normalized wind in the FF Bladed-style binary file to velocities in units of meters per second. I suppose that the “1000” is typo of “100”, considering the similar equations introduced in Bladed theory manual.
hmm…It seems that Bladed uses a different format “-92”, not “-99”.
1000 is not a typo. That is the number used in TurbSim with the “-99” identifier. It is quite possible that Bladed has developed a new format that is identified by “-92”. (I think an earlier Bladed format used “-3”, too.)
