The wave peak-spectral period (Tp) defines the peak of the wave spectrum. There is no peak in a white-noise wave spectrum, so, Tp is not necessary. The equation for the one-sided power-spectral density of white-noise waves (with frequencies in rad/s) is:
WaveS1Sdd = WaveHsWaveHs/(8( MIN( Pi/WaveDT, WvHiCOff ) – WvLowCOff ) )
where the MIN() is used in case WaveHighCtOff is specified above the highest frequency resolved by the time step.
