Dear Jason.Jonkman

I have made this openFAST simulation wanting to model the gearbox in Simscape. For this simulation I am using the following parameters: DrTrDOF=False, GBRatio=1, GenInner=0, and GenDOF=True. I have noticed that in the simulation the variables at the output of sfunction RotTorq and GenTq are the same. Could you please explain to me why this happens?

Dear @Jersson.Leon,

Because GenIner = 0, the acceleration/deceleration of the shaft wont result in a difference between the generator torque (GenTq) and the reaction torque (RotTorq) within the shaft.
